Affiliate programme terms
The agreement below is the same version presented when you apply. Your acceptance is recorded with your account.
Effective 30 August 2026 · Version 2026-08-30 · XXVIII Ltd, company no. 08184502BULLISH BEAR AFFILIATE AGREEMENT
Version: affiliate-2026-10-03-v1
This agreement applies when accepted through the Bullish Bear affiliate application.
Participation begins only after your application is approved.
1. Parties and admission
This programme is operated by XXVIII Ltd (company 08184502), trading as Bullish
Bear, 87a Cherry Orchard Road, Croydon, United Kingdom, CR0 6BE. Applicants must
be at least 18 and authorised to enter this agreement for themselves or their
business. A free Bullish Bear account is sufficient. Applications are reviewed;
submitting an application does not itself approve participation.
2. Referral attribution
A new customer must register within 30 days of clicking your
approved link. The first eligible link used on that browser wins. Attribution
is saved to their account when they register and survives the 21-day trial.
Tracking may not work across devices, blocked storage or cleared browser data.
Customers may also enter an eligible affiliate code before their first paid
subscription. Self-referrals, fabricated accounts and fraudulent payments are
not eligible. Once attributed, another code cannot replace the affiliate.
The public SHARPEN code creates no affiliate attribution and preserves any
existing attribution. Attribution history is retained after eligibility ends.
Customers receive 10% off their first 12 qualifying monthly payments, with no
reset on cancellation or resubscription. The first annual subscription includes
one extra month, then renews every 12 months at the normal annual price. A monthly
customer may claim that annual benefit once when upgrading; the monthly discount
ends on upgrade. Offers cannot be stacked on the same payment. The existing
21-day free-access period is unchanged. Exact tax and renewal details appear at
checkout. The 12-payment customer discount allowance is distinct from the
affiliate's 12-calendar-month commission eligibility period.
3. Commission
All approved affiliates receive 30% of a referred customer's first annual
subscription payment, or 20% of successful monthly payments within 12 calendar
months of the customer's first paid subscription. The trial does not start that
clock. The clock does not restart after cancellation or resubscription. Plan
changes do not restart it. Commission applies only to actual eligible charges,
after discounts and excluding tax; partial charges earn proportionate commission.
No commission is payable on later annual renewals. Historical commission rates
are recorded with each payment. No income or referral volume is guaranteed.
4. Holding period and payment
Commission is held for 30 days after each successful customer payment. Cleared
unpaid commission enters the next monthly payout on the 15th, subject to any
chosen minimum and valid payout details. The default minimum is £10; affiliates
may instead choose £25, £50 or £100. Balances below that amount carry forward.
Annual commission is paid as a lump sum,
not in instalments. Monthly commission accrues as customers pay. Example: a
payment on 1 October clears on 31 October and enters the 15 November payout.
The payout minimum applies to the net amount you receive after processing fees.
If fees would bring the payment below your chosen minimum, your commission
carries forward until the net payment reaches it. Unconfirmed fee estimates
do not establish payout eligibility.
Before submission, we reserve the displayed net payment and an estimated
processing fee from your cleared commission. Bullish Bear adds no markup. Each payout statement
shows the commission settled, processing fee and net payment. Only the actual
fee for that transfer is deducted; estimated fees are not recorded as paid fees.
Once PayPal confirms the result, only the net payment and actual processing fee
are settled. Any unused fee reserve remains in your commission balance for a
future payout; it is not an additional fee and is not sent as a separate transfer.
If a payment is returned, its principal and any retained or refunded fees must
be reconciled before the available balance is restored.
Payouts use PayPal in GBP and require a PayPal account eligible to receive the
payment in the recipient's market. Availability is subject to PayPal restrictions.
PayPal's published UK standard Payouts fee, checked 3 October 2026, is 2% of the
sent amount, capped at £10 for domestic GBP payouts and £60 for international
GBP payouts. Our displayed estimate uses the higher cap until the applicable
recipient market is verified; actual account-specific charges remain authoritative.
Fee schedule: https://www.paypal.com/uk/business/paypal-business-fees
Currency-conversion or withdrawal charges may also be imposed
by the recipient's provider or bank; these are separate from our deduction.
Illustration only: if the provider charges £1 for a payout against £50 of
cleared commission, £49 is sent to you. Actual charges depend on the provider,
destination and currency; a 2% fee is not guaranteed. We do not send payouts
where the processing fee would consume the entire amount.
Balances carried forward do not expire merely for being small.
The affiliate is responsible for their applicable tax reporting.
For example, an eligible annual payment of £99 before tax earns £29.70 commission.
The bonus month generates no additional commission because no payment is taken
for it. Tax is never included in commission.
5. Refunds, reversals and disputes
Refunded or reversed payments do not qualify. Partial refunds reduce commission
proportionally. Disputed payments may be held pending resolution. Commission
already paid on a refunded or reversed payment is offset against future earnings;
every adjustment appears in the statement. Cancellation alone does not remove
commission on an otherwise valid payment. Fraud may result in suspension.
6. Honest promotion
Clearly disclose affiliate advertising before the audience engages with it and
follow applicable advertising rules. Do not promise profits, guaranteed trading
results or guaranteed improvement; describe Bullish Bear as historical practice
and educational software. Do not impersonate Bullish Bear, send spam, use cookie
stuffing or misleading offers, or bid on Bullish Bear brand terms without written
permission. Use approved branding without implying an employment relationship.
7. Privacy and statements
You receive anonymous referral references, payment and commission information,
not customer names, emails, payment credentials or practice activity. We use your
application, account and payment records to operate the programme and maintain
the acceptance and financial audit trail. See the platform privacy notice.
8. Suspension, termination and changes
Either party may end participation by notice through platform support. We may
suspend activity for suspected fraud, misleading advertising or material breach.
Legitimate accrued earnings remain subject to refund, dispute and holding rules;
they are not forfeited solely because the affiliate leaves. Material changes
will be notified for acceptance and do not retrospectively reduce valid earnings.
No authority is granted to contract on our behalf. Contact support to dispute a
statement so the underlying payment records can be reviewed.
9. Governing terms
English law applies, subject to mandatory rights that cannot be excluded.
The parties will first seek to resolve disputes through support. Acceptance is
recorded with the authenticated account, legal name, timestamp, exact text and
version.
